Cute Chicks!

I saw these cute felted chicks on designmom.com. She gave very good instructions with pictures, and she said it was really easy. She also warned of the dangers of using a felting tool, which has four very sharped barbed needles.....

They are sharp! Only stabbed myself once, but it left two holes

and I got blood on one of my poor little chickies.

I only got two chicks done last night, and overall,

I would say that felting is a huge pain in the arse. I would not recommend it.

I don't know if I even dare post pictures of mine.

Oh well, I tried!

Oh Deer!

This little deer came wandering into our backyard last night. He walked right up and sniffed us. It kind of freaked me out, because I've seen those TV shows "When Animals Attack." But the neighbors had been petting it, so I decided to let Laney and Asher get near it.

They thought it was pretty cool to actually pet a deer!

Valentines Day

I brought home a heart shaped pizza and cherry sparkling cider
for the little kids, Kamry, and her friend, Sabrina

I made the traditional big, heart shaped sugar cookies with their names on them.

Asher couldn't wait to dig into his.

Then we left the little buggars home, and Chavis and I went to Wild Rose for dinner!

What a Chatter Box!

This boy woke up last night at 10:30, crying and wanting to go "rocky bye bye," which means he wants to go snuggle in the rocking chair. He sure didn't snuggle, though, he was a chatter box!
Here are some of the things he said:

Grandma, Grandpa.
Wall, light.
Fall, go boom.
Laney swim, Kamry swim.
Daddy fix it.
