I GOT TO MEET JODI!!

Someone asked Jodi which one of her books was her favorite, and she said Second Glance.

That was definitely my favorite book of hers.

I read it last year while I was in Florida and I couldn't put it down!

It's about ghost hunting and the Eugenics project in Vermont.

Monica and I went to see Jodi Picoult at St. Mark's School.

She was amazing!

She talked about her new book,

Handle With Care, and read a few pages.

She answered questions and then signed books.

I think I had a huge grin on my face the entire time!

Palm Springs

Laney and Kamry are chillin' on the patio.

The girls had a lot of fun playing with

their cousins in the pool every day.

Each morning was spent out on the patio
with a latte and a view of the palm trees
and the pool. I could do this every day!
The flowers were so beautiful in Palm Springs
and they smelled so good!

The girls liked walking down this big staircase.
Kamry would always pretend to lose a
shoe on the way up, Cinderella style.
Courtney and Emily helped the kids build a sandcastle.

The pool was so fun and the weather was so nice that I really hated to come home.

I could have used a few more days to relax!

Sportsman's Expo

We went to the Sportsman's Expo to see the baby bears.

They were so cute and tiny! Kamry was the only lucky one who

got to hold the bear, the rest of us just got to pet it.
