Laney is always saying funny things. This week we were in a parking lot and I told her to hold my hand. She said, "Sweetie, are you messing with me?"

We took Monica and Katelyn boating for Monica's birthday. I met Monica about seven years ago when I was Katelyn's 2nd grade teacher, and we have been friends ever since. I hope she had a fun birthday!

Steve, Where Are You??

Steve went missing on the 24th of June. He must have gotten out when Kamry opened the front door to get the milk. We'll just have to keep checking the shelter. Come home, Steve!!

Cowabunga!!

Yesterday we got a wild hair and decided to go to Cowabunga Bay for the afternoon. (It's right in the parking lot of the outlet stores in Draper.) It was fairly expensive, about $45 for me, Kamry and Laney. The lines were very short, and some slides had no line at times. You get drenched on your way up the steps, so no chance for me to keep my hair dry. There is a baby pool and a lazy river. You don't have to pay for tubes. The slides are for younger kids, so none of them are too scary. There were two little tiny slides that Laney could go on. I tried the biggest slide, which resulted in an enema and a wedgie. The food was pretty good, and everything was very nice and new. It was a fun day!
