Almost There!

I have exactly 3 more weeks! Sometimes I don't know if I'll make it or not, but there are a few things that are getting me through it:
1: Laney's 15 minute foot massages
2: Cookie dough shakes
3: The recliner
4: The big bath tub
5: Nice friends

Things That Are Not Helping:
1: Naughty 6th Graders
2: Crotch Pain! Ouch!!!
3: Heartburn

Florida Dreamin'

Well, we would be in Florida right now with the rest of the Petersons if I wasn't having a baby soon. The thought of sitting on a plane for five hours and walking around Disney World is not too appealing, though. Sitting by the pool amidst the palm trees, soaking up the sun sounds nice, but that would require a swimsuit (Yikes!). I'll just have to be content to carry on in my regular routine (teaching, taking Kamry to soccer, housework, etc..) because I'll soon have 6 weeks off! Let me just say, it's hard teaching school when you're this pregnant, because you have to pee. . .a lot. . .but you can't just leave the room. . .so you just hold it in misery until lunch!!

Bathroom Revamp

I was so sick of the red faded rugs in my bathroom, so I figured it was time to do a little revamp. I decided to go with a beach them because the color matches my bedroom, and it reminded me of the beautiful beach house we stayed in the last time we went to Oregon. (I'm sure my mom will hate it.)

Just Kickin' Back!

I am so glad to have this recliner right now. It has been my bed for the last couple of weeks! It's the only way I can sleep comfortably, and it definitely helps with heartburn.
I'm also glad that I have Amanda to paint my toenails for me! Not too much longer, now. The C-section is scheduled for April 8th!

The Easter Bunny!

Laney in the basket at 6 months old!

Peter ran upstairs while I was cleaning his litter box today. We thought it would be funny to put him in the Easter basket we had for Laney's pictures when she was a baby, and he actually liked it. He burrowed down in the grass and went to sleep.

Laney's New Bikini!

Laney picked out a new swim suit at Gymboree, and now it's all she wants to wear! She even wanted to sleep in it.
If I had that bod, I'd wear one too.
Last night Laney said, "Mom, that would be CRAZY if you wore a 'kini!"
She is definitely right.

What Not to Say to a Pregnant Woman...

"Wow," as you flip through each page of the Venus Swimwear catalog that just came in the mail. (Chavis)

"Are you sure you're only having one?" (School Bus Driver out at bus duty today.)
