After Laney was born in 2005, I decided to give up my 2nd grade job and go part time so that I could spend more time with her. I had to move into another classroom when I took a job as a specialist, teaching Reading Fluency. Because our school is constantly growing, last year I had to teach from a cart, and this year I was given a trailer. It is very old, and has a smell to it. It has hideous wooden paneling on the walls, and the stairs are rotting out. The principal calls this trailer "The Dog Dish. " I can't complain, though, because it's better than the cart!
