Grandpa and Grandma Black
It's so hard to see your grandparents going downhill, especially when they've always been so healthy and active. You just think they're going to be around forever. My grandma always said, "You're my favorite, but don't tell the other kids." I'm so glad that my girls have gotten to know my grandparents and been able to spend time with them. My grandma's mind is going, and my grandpa's health has taken a turn for the worse. He just lost a toe and part of his foot with his diabetes. There are going to be some big changes in their lives since they are not going to be able to take care of each other anymore.

Yeah, it is sad to see grandparents getting old. And, parents, too. My little brother just told me, "Mom and Dad are going senile." Aging is a weird thing. But, you just got to love life in the moment.
